In the 1980’s there was a popular saying, “No pain, no gain.” Although not generally recommended as an exercise motto, the saying can point us towards the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross.

Wisdom may not be very common in our world. but Scripture tells us that it is available to anyone who asks. Best of all, when we ask God for wisdom, God gives us the most amazing gift of all: God’s presence.
